Responsibilities:

• Be the product manager for a set of business solutions. Develop sufficient knowledge to become the subject matter expert in a set of assigned solutions. Take responsibility for all product development and support
• Contribute to the delivery of internal projects and initiatives. These can range from simple integrations and automations to extensive application implementations and system transformations
• Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability
• Follow priorities set by management, in line with the Technology Strategy and Change portfolio priorities
• Perform routine business solution maintenance, upgrades and releases
• Troubleshoot technical issues and respond to requests for support when required. Analyse root causes of common and recurring issues and propose permanent solutions
• Assist with the development of data management routines such as imports / reconciliations / report production
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers when required
• Demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service at all times, and to act as an ambassador for the Technology department in all dealings with customers
• Adhere to all IT Governance processes such as incident management, change enablement etc
• Maintain business solution management documentation including creating knowledge base articles and procedure documents, FAQ’s, self-help guides
• Establish, develop and maintain effective relationships with assigned business contacts
• Escalate any issues to the IT Management Team as soon as possible and recommend potential solutions
• Provide assistance to other members of Technology team
• Identify & recommend process improvements, efficiency gains and cost savings to the team
• Consistently produce work to a high standard whilst demonstrating excellent standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions
• Being aware of cyber security risks that exist and escalate any events or concerns that are encountered. Carry out all tasks in a secure manner i.e. keeping security in mind
• Encourage staff awareness of cyber security risks and of best practice guidelines
• Ensure security and privacy best practices, policies and procedures are considered as part of all IT changes

Required:

• Previous relevant business solution experience in a professional services organization would be an advantage
• Experience in the implementation, configuration and general administration of any of the following systems is advantageous: iManage Work, Thomson Reuters Elite, Online Client Portals (data rooms, SaaS products)
• Experience in the development and/or management of system integrations and knowledge of APIs would be advantageous
• Ability to spot and analyse trends
• Demonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problems
• Experience of working within an IT change management environment
• Able to demonstrate SQL query writing skills will be an advantage
• Higher level education would be an advantage.
