Our client, a global leader in speciality chemical distribution, is seeking a strategic and commercially astute Business Unit Manager to lead its Advanced Materials (Rubber & Polymers) business in Malaysia. This is a high-impact role focused on driving profitable growth in a dynamic and fast-evolving market.

The BUM will take full responsibility for the Malaysian business, managing sales performance, expanding market share, and deepening relationships across a diverse customer base. A key part of the role is overseeing a portfolio of global Principal partners, ensuring alignment on commercial strategy while actively identifying new opportunities to strengthen and grow the offering.

This role is about more than sales leadership — it’s about building a business. The successful candidate will shape local strategy, uncover market gaps, and onboard new suppliers to deliver innovative, high-value solutions to the market. They’ll serve as the primary liaison with both customers and Principals, combining market insight with operational execution to deliver measurable outcomes.
