Invenio are hiring to a CFO position on behalf of a local retail business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing Finance departments in a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, providing strategic guidance and financial insights to drive growth and profitability.
• Lead and direct the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Evaluate and implement effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize the company’s financial performance.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for business restructuring and drive efficiency improvements.
• Perform financial analysis and present reports to the executive team, providing recommendations to improve profitability and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and financial best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CFO or in a similar senior finance role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong background in business restructuring, with the ability to identify and implement strategic initiatives.
• Commercial mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability.
• Solid understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience in managing and mentoring finance teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Proficient in financial software and systems.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are highly desirable.
