Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join their expanding team in either their Fort Worth or Dallas offices in TX. This role will focus on leading the design and technical development of electrical systems on large-scale, high-impact projects, while mentoring junior staff and contributing to process improvements. Ideal candidates will bring technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a strong commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and technical development of electrical systems across a variety of building types including commercial, industrial, manufacturing, and high-rises.
• Oversee and perform quality control reviews on design deliverables to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and designers, particularly in Revit modeling and best design practices.
• Enhance internal tools and design methodologies, with a focus on improving Revit workflows and increasing design efficiency.
• Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing through design reviews, technical workshops, and lunch & learn sessions.
• Support construction administration including site inspections, RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda.
• Assist in preparing electrical specifications, system narratives, load calculations, and fault current analyses.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the MEP industry, with a focus on electrical systems.
• Strong proficiency in Revit; experience with developing custom Revit tools and workflows is a plus.
• Solid understanding of electrical design principles, NEC, NFPA codes, load calculations, and fault current analysis.
• Experience managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality results under deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Prior experience in high-rise, data center, aerospace, healthcare, or industrial facility projects is preferred.

Preferred Experience:

• Advanced Revit capabilities, including development of custom tools and system coordination workflows.
• Familiarity with mission-critical or defense-related electrical systems.
• Proven leadership in team and client relationship management.
