Responsibilities:

• Perform common, uncommon, and complex tasks geared towards proactive/reactive securing and supporting of the company IT security posture.
• Analyze data from threat and vulnerability feeds and use the data for applicability to the organization.
• Engage and support the general IT department on adhoc projects or support tasks.
• Proactive remediation works to continually improve the IT security posture (on-prem/cloud).
• Perform tasks using xDR, Patch Management, MDM, and Endpoint Management platforms.
• Review and remediate security concerns via tools, system logs, alerting systems, and user behaviors.
• Create user access rights, policies in AD, Microsoft 365 tenants and the security scorecards associated.
• Helpdesk functions (troubleshooting & remediation) as relates to AD, Mail and endpoint security issues.
• Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security.

Required:

• Microsoft MCSE 2016/2019 and Azure Specialist certifications (identity, security and administration).
• Preferred certification related to IT Security: CompTIA Security+ or CEH.
• Min of 5 years in IT Industry and 3 years of prior work experience as a Network/System Administrator.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 2019 Server OS, AD, Azure, 365, Exchange Online.
• Experience w/Microsoft PowerShell scripting and Cisco networking technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and embody positive interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and teams in a friendly, productive manner.
