Our client is a leading global provider of commissioning, qualification, validation, start-up, project management, and consulting services for mission-critical industries. With a strong presence worldwide, they are dedicated to ensuring operational readiness for FDA-regulated facilities, data centers, and other critical infrastructure. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Tokyo, Japan.

Reporting to the Regional Commissioning Manager, the Lead Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and executing commissioning processes for data center facilities and other mission-critical environments. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems and extensive experience in commissioning HVAC, cooling, plumbing, and piping infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in data center commissioning. Relevant experience in commissioning critical systems in data centres is preferred. Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as, construction/commissioning systems such as CxAlloy, Procore, Aconex, MS Compass is preferred. Proficiency in written and Spoken English and ideally Japanese is required. Opportunities will be given to travel domestically and internationally for project assignments, with legal authorization to live and work in Japan.
