Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of HR concepts, policies and practices acquired through formal academic training and/relevant years’ experience in an HR generalist capacity and/or corporate areas of expertise
  • Solid understanding of HR governance/legislation and HR policies 
  • Solid program management, change management and implementation planning capability to effectively deliver HR solutions to the assigned client groups.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the assigned client groups including their culture, their products, services and HR requirements.
  • Strong consulting skills and ability to persuade/influence business leaders 
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and relationship management skills 
  • Well development people management skills, ability to manage priorities and create a collaborative and high performing HR team.

Responsibilities: 
HR Policy and Governance

  • Reinforces appropriate application of HR policies, standards and procedures
  • Provides HR policy interpretation and advice to business leaders 
  • Partners with Corporate Human Resources in governance related activities

HR Planning and Integration

  • Understands client business goals, objectives, and operating environment
  • Plans and coordinates the delivery of annual Corporate HR initiatives
  • Incorporates change management methodology into HR planning and integration practices 
  • Partners with HR centers of expertise when presenting business specific HR requirements or assisting the center with the implementation of new HR initiatives and programs.

HR Program Delivery

  • Attends weekly SET meetings and supports business strategy and objectives 
  • Meets client expectations by effectively managing priorities, deliverables and ensuring HR solutions
  • Works with the leadership team to ensure their HR requirements are met 
  • Supports organization development efforts  
  • Provides leadership 
  • Attends quarterly Board Meetings and presents HR report 
  • Acts as BCP Alternate Coordinator.
