Responsibilities:

• Installation and repair of low voltage data cabling infrastructure to professional and company standards.
• Understand and implement job requirements from customer supplied low voltage electrical drawings.
• Supervision of a team of field installers and their timesheets.
• Maintaining accurate daily project time and material log entries on the worksheets for each job.
• Submission of all project Log worksheet each day to the administration office for processing.
• Communication and coordination with other vendors and customers in a professional manner that reflects positively on the Company.
• Ensure the worksite, office, and warehouse are kept in an organized clean, tidy, and safe manner and provide repairs and maintenance as required from time to time.
• Carry out other associated functions as the Company may reasonably require from time to time.

Required:

• Data Cabling – At least three years’ experience installing and repairing data cabling, and telephony infrastructure. Industry certifications will be required either on joining the company or within the first year of employment.
• Fibre Optic Cabling – At least three years’ experience with single mode and multimode fibre optic installation and technical applications.

Desired:

• Electrical – Recognized experience and electrical qualifications valid in the Cayman Islands.
• BMS – Knowledge and qualifications for installing Building Management Systems.

Experience with the following:

• Pricing of jobs using the company quotation system from customer drawings.
• Pricing and submission of tenders in accordance with tender packages.
• Technical architecture of systems when required by the customer.
• Procurement and tracking of all materials.
• Inventory management.
