Training and Digital Adoption Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the training & induction process for the Group
  • Periodically deliver induction training during periods of absence
  • Build a programmer of improvement for the technology induction process including leveraging in newly adopted technologies
  • Take the responsibility for the development of the Group’s technology training portal, including the development of training videos and documentation. Manage and contribute to the design and build a portfolio of high quality training materials to satisfy various learning style requirements
  • Lead the training and digital adoption work streams of all technology implementations projects
  • Be the driving force behind the adoption of new systems and technologies. Contribute to the development of the Group’s digital journey by promoting the benefits of what is being implemented
  • Take the responsibility for the delivery of training programmers that include web-based seminars, printed manuals, group sessions and training videos
  • Conduct regular meetings with senior management to identify subjects to be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction
  • Collaborate with the group’s marketing and internal communications team to produce internal training materials to be distributed throughout the company to announce training programs and details
  • Manage costs for all programmers, productions, and publications in accordance with the procurement process and the training budget
  • Contribute to the firm’s internal training and digital adoption strategy
  • Analyze systems usage data to identify potential digital adoption gaps
  • Build a repository of digital adoption reports and KPIs
  • Identify areas where process improvements can be achieved through digital adoption
  • Identify ways of achieving maximum productivity across the group by encouraging the use of technology to its maximum potential, and improve employee engagement and therefore performance
  • Develop a two-way communication channel to assist with gathering feedback across the group
  • Undertake a business analysis role on some initiatives, sourcing requirements from users to build into technology implementations
  • Mentor less experienced members of the Technology Team and provide assistance when necessary
  • Demonstrate an excellent standard of customer service at all times, and act as an ambassador for the Technology department in all dealings with customers
  • Ensure security and privacy best practices, policies and procedures are considered as part of all training and digital adoption initiatives
  • Continually research methods and techniques in workplace training and remain up-to-date on developments within the industry and competitors
  • Escalate any issues to the Technology Management Team as soon as possible, and recommend potential solutions where possible
  • Identify & recommend process improvements, efficiency gains and cost savings to the Group
  • Be aware of cyber security risks that exist and escalate any events or concerns that are encountered

Required:

  • Legal industry experience would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service. Ability to gather business training requirements by analyzing knowledge gaps and areas requiring improvements
  • Experience in developing yearly training plans and materials
  • Applied knowledge of learning models and facilitation methods
  • Proven strengths in facilitating collaboration and collaborative ways of working both as part of an internal team and with external stakeholders/partners
  • Software: applied knowledge of Learning and Content Management systems, web conferencing/webinar software, e-learning authoring tools
  • Fluent English and an ability to write clearly and concisely for different audiences including academics and practitioners
