
Assistant Accountant – Real Estate
Invenio are working with a Property Management company that are hiring to an internal Assistant Accountant position. The post-holder will work directly underneath the CFO and Senior Accountant, managing daily and monthly accounting matters. This will include; budgets, reporting, preparation of info for board meetings, suggested process improvements, system entries, online payments, liaising with external creditors and debtors.
It’s a great opportunity to join a company at the forefront of the fastest growing sector in the Cayman Islands. It’s a little different to a lot of locally available positions as financials services experience is not the ideal background for this role, nor is an accounting designation an essential requirement (although it is preferred).
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting.
- 5+ years experience of accounting in a commercial environment (ideally construction or real estate)
- Quickbooks experience and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
