A leading professional services firm head-quartered here in Grand Cayman, is looking to bring in an Assistant Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- Support the the Global Financial Controller with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Recording of accounting entries, follow-up on all outstanding balances and performing monthly reconciliations
- Overseeing and offering guidance to the finance & accounting support team
- Monitor policies and procedures for accounting and reporting and implement improvements where possible
- Assisting with preparation of the annual budget for multiple locations
- Assist with the audit process
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant – CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA etc
- 2 years experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Experience with working with Fund and / or Trust administration systems
