Associate Director – 2IC Cost Management Business Unit – Taiwan

Our client is one of the worlds leading Global Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Practices. With a global network of offices and an enviable portfolio of international corporate clients, they have particular strength in Corporate Real Estate and highly technical projects including Data Centres.

With a major Data Centre project currently underway in Taiwan for an international Tech Giant, they are seeking an Associate Director level Cost Manager to support in the leadership of this major project as well as to assist in the growth of their business in Taiwan. As Associate Director you will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations and leading a team of Cost Managers across a portfolio of projects including delivering cost estimates and plans, pre and post contract quantity surveying duties as well as leading and managing the tender and procurement process for contractors. You will manage cost variations and checks as well as contribute to business development opportunities. You will also support the Country Director in operational management activities as well as driving new business initiatives and activities.

The successful candidate with be qualified to degree level in Quantity Surveying and ideally be MRICS qualified. You will be capable with major cost management software and have a demonstrable track record in leading cost management teams on Corporate Real Estate and Data Centre projects. Ideally you will have prior experience in Asia but certainly in major RICS centres such as Europe, Australasia, South Africa or other parts of Asia.
