Economic Substance Associate – Grand Cayman (Temp and Perm)

Experience:

• Liaising with clients regarding Economic Substance queries
• Communicating internally and externally with key stakeholders regarding Economic Substance
• Providing governance support including database maintenance tasks for client engagement files
• Key regulatory projects and other support for quality client service delivery
• Service and maintain relationships for a portfolio of clients
• Completeness of performance and investor reporting
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling products / services of the business
• Financial Statement / Audit reviews and regulatory filing
• Keep up to date of any industry developments and regulatory changes
• Assisting in ad hoc projects as and when required

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or internationally recognized professional qualification
• Prior experience of investment fund client service experience
• A strong working knowledge of fund structures, fund documentation and regulatory requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Corporate secretarial, legal secretarial or paralegal experience is preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Cayman Islands Mutual Funds law

Salary US$50-70k
