Brand Operations Director – Hospitality – Vietnam
Our client is a leading hospitality group in Vietnam with a growing portfolio of mid-scale to luxury city hotels and resorts across the country.
As part of their rapid growth story, they are launching an exciting new hospitality concept aimed at the growing business and industrial park sector in the country. With the first hotel due to be delivered and opened this year and a further two already in various stages of development, they are seeking an experience Hotel Operations Professional to join their team leading the delivery and growth of this exciting new brand.
As Brand Operations Director and reporting toe the Group VP of Operations, you will be initially responsible for the set up, recruitment and training of the first hotel to be opened on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. As the portfolio grows you will move on to develop brand strategy and operating standards and guidelines as well as lead the set up and operations of new hotels as they come online in the portfolio across the country.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in hotel General Management and Operations within the economy or mid-scale business sectors. You will likely have spent time as a Cluster GM and have been involved in the development and roll out of new brand concepts previously. You will have strong business acumen in designing and delivering business plans as well as running profitable P&L’s. You will also be used to dealing with owners and investors and understand the expectations on investment ROI. You will ideally already be situated in Vietnam, however, external candidates with strong South East Asia or prior Vietnam experience will also be considered.
