Business Development Manager – Planning & Delay Consultancy – Singapore
Our client is a leading Consultancy specialising in outsourced Planning Services, Delay Analysis and Arbitration in the Construction Environment. With increasing demand for their services in Singapore and the region, they are seeking to add a Business Development Lead to take on and manage this function for them.
As the Business Development Lead for the business, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Main Contractors and specialist Sub-Contractors in the Singapore market to provide opportunities to present the organisation and services to them. You will be responsible for cold calling new leads, attending networking events and tracking projects to develop meetings and opportunities to sell the companies services to these organisations as well as leading client entertainment activities.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record in business development and network creation in the Singapore construction environment. You will have an existing network or construction Main and Sub Contractors and have a strong understanding of construction activities.
You are not expected to be technically qualified, or to be able to deliver highly technical pitches. You are expected to have a strong understanding and knowledge of the local construction markets and have a genuine interest in the industry. This role would ideally suit an existing Recruitment Consultant operating in the Construction markets, or a candidate working within a supplier with contacts across Main and Sub Contractor networks.
