Chief Engineer – Grand Hotel – Budapest

Our client is a leading name in prestige luxury hotels. Having created an envious portfolio of historical conversions and iconic new developments, they have positioned themselves at the very pinnacle of luxury across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

As such, they are looking to secure a Chief Engineer for their property in Budapest, a grand hotel of palatial scale in a historical building with 300+ rooms and suites, leisure facilities, bars & restaurants, and conferencing and banqueting facilities.

This is a large and impressive asset but historical in nature and will need a technically very hands-on leader for the engineering division. You will also need to be strong in the financial and administrative aspects of the role including driving cost and energy-saving initiatives across the asset.

The ideal candidate with be qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have strong experience working in the prestige hospitality environment in a similar type of asset. Hungarian language skills and right to work in Hungary are preferred but not essential.
