
Chief Information Officer – Grand Cayman
Invenio have been engaged by a leading Cayman Islands based Financial Services organization to secure a Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Responsibilities
Creation and ownership of the strategic IT road map including acquisition, implementation, maintenance and support, in-line with the wider organization strategic goals
Ensures legal and regulatory compliance of technological processes and service
Champions Information Technology policies and procedures – evaluates, identifies problems, trends and anticipates requirements to ensure the security of IT assets and Intellectual Property.
Manages the IT function responsible for around the clock accessibility.
Responsible for the IT budget including variance reports and technology obsolescence plan that provides predictability to technology replacements.
Advises organization wife leadership and board committees on trends, risks and competitive threats
Ensure the vulnerability management program and implements cybersecurity tools and processes to meet industry best practices.
Manages business continuity processes – disaster recovery and business continuity Plan.
Develops and manages the service level agreements with vendors and 3rd parties.
Responsible for the modernization of the current IT landscape including system evaluation and selection around the use of cloud technology, data analytics, process automation, mobility and cybersecurity tools.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in IT or related field
Desired – Project Management Professional (PMP) / CISSP / ITIL certification desired
10+ years spent in technology with 5 in leadership positions
Knowledge of – Financial records, database and spreadsheet application, Crystal Reports, VMWare, Veeam, SQL Server, MS office application, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual Studio
