Responsibilities:

As a lawyer in the corporate, commercial and investment funds team you’ll be get a vast amount of client contact whilst working directly with the Partners, Counsel and Senior Associates across the firm.

Typically, clients would include well known corporations, financial institutions, investment funds and asset managers, along with a number of the firms longstanding HNWI clients.

Working across various partners and senior personnel within the firm, your day-to-day work would range from M&A, private equity and joint venture transactions, along with getting good exposure to fund formation, commercial contracts and general advisory work.

Our client understands that working in an Offshore jurisdiction comes with a certain lifestyle and for that reason, they set very reasonable billable targets whilst still paying competitive base salaries, bonuses, and incentivised perks.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should have 2.5 – 7 years PQE and a largely corporate law or transactional background.

Candidates who already have experience working in the Caribbean legal sphere would be desirable, however our client is just as interested in seeing strong profiles of lawyers who are English & Welsh, Scottish, Irish, Australian, Canadian or New Zealand qualified.

The firm has relatively flexible salary bandings in place however as a rough guide they’d likely offer circa USD$145,000 (3PQE), USD$165,000 (5PQE), USD$210,000 (7PQE) along with bonus and a relocation package.
