Design Director – Corporate Workplace Design – Hong Kong

Our client is a global multi-disciplinary design firm with an excellent reputation in the regional markets. As part of a global initiative to drive and grow their corporate workplace design platform they are implementing a number of strategic initiatives in Asia including several key hires and the development of new studios.

As part of this, they are looking to add to their capability in the Hong Kong market and are seeking a highly creative and autonomous Design Director to join their existing office there.

The successful candidate will be trained in Interior Design or Interior Architecture and have a demonstrable track record in the conceptualization and delivery of interior design projects in the Corporate Workplace environment in Hong Kong and China as well as support Internationally. You will have strong conceptual capabilities and be able to lead a team of designers. You will also have strong client management skills and be skilled in the work-winning environment leading pitches and representing the company. You will ideally have good exposure to working with Financial and Professional Services clients.

Prior experience working internationally would be highly advantageous and bilingual capabilities are an advantage although not necessary for this position. Ideally, you will already be located in Hong Kong with Cantonese language skills, however, this is not essential.
