Design Director – Corporate Workplace – Shanghai

Our client is a leading Global Interior Design & Build firm with an enviable reputation in the delivery of first-class corporate interiors around the world.

With several well-established, stable, and successful design teams already in place, they are seeking to develop a further design team and as such are seeking a Design Director with the ability to develop and grow a design team into an industry-leading Studio in Shanghai.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or another related degree and have a demonstrable track record in the design and delivery of high-profile corporate interior projects across China and the region. You will have developed strong people management skills and be able to mentor and develop junior designers. You will have a network for business development and strong client relationship management skills and ideally have prior experience in the Interior Design & Build environment capable of working at pace and collaborating with the projects, engineering, and quantity surveying teams.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Interior Director to develop their own team within a large and well-established Studio in Shanghai.
