Director – Design & Technical Services – Southern Europe, Paris

Our client is a leading name in global hospitality. As one of the largest hotel operators in the world, they also have one of the most interesting brand suites and a formidable development pipeline, especially in Southern Europe.

As such, they are seeking a Senior Design & Technical Services specialist to support the executive Technical Services team in the delivery of their Economy to Mid-Scale and Premium brand suite. The successful candidate will be from an Architecture or Interior Design design background and have strong experience in decision-making around material and equipment choices providing value engineering services to their partner owners, whilst maintaining compliance to brand design standards and not interfering with the look and feel of the hotel under development.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with a hotel operator or owner-operator organisation. You will have strong capabilities in the design review and approval process and be able to work across a portfolio of projects simultaneously. You must be fully bilingual in English and French and further Southern European language skills would be highly advantageous for communication with their owners, consultant supply chain, and internal staff members. This role will ideally be Paris based with a high travel component and existing right to work in Europe is a prerequisite.
