Director of Financial Risk Management – BERMUDA

Job Summary:

The Director of Financial Risk Management, supports the International CRO in overseeing the financial and model risks in the company’s financial reporting, operation, business planning and strategic initiatives, ensuring the risk profile and mitigants are aligned with the Risk Management Framework and Risk Appetite. The role partners with various functional areas in the company to promote risk culture, serves as the financial risk and model risk knowledge resource for internal teams and as the expert to provide inputs and supports CRO in reviewing and challenging 1st LOD management decision-making process in various risk topics such as risk capacity utilization, risk / return trade-off for business initiatives.

Required Education and Experience:

FSA and possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in senior actuarial roles, with specific experience in financial risk management
Experience in consulting or a large, complex, global organization
A high level of knowledge of accounting, capital markets, and investments
