Responsibilities:
- Communicate between the MD’s office and the diverse portfolio of companies that he has responsibility for across and outside the group
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications and other documents on behalf of the MD
- Act as a point of contact between executives and employees/clients
- Liaison with Government ministries and prominent members of the business community
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments and conference calls
- Design and maintain databases
- Maintain the MD’s filing system
- Prioritize meeting requests, document execution requests and action accordingly
- Arrange varied business travel
- Perform general office duties and running errands as required
- Record, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings as required
- Monitor, screen, respond to and distribute incoming communications
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Interact with external clients
Experience required:
- A Degree with proven work experience providing high-level administrative support to an executive or senior management team
- Proficiency and expertise in all MS Office applications
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work with all staff levels across a diverse portfolio of companies
- Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information always
- Excellent team player with the ability to work well with others or under own initiative and positive attitude
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to think proactively, multi-task, prioritize work and function under pressure
