Finance & Accounting – Senior Associate

On behalf of our client, a global financial services business, Invenio are recruiting for a Senior Associate Accountant.

About the Role

Responsible for ensuring that all clients are billed accurately, within a timely manner and that all collections are made within a giving time frame.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with finance and operations teams
• Generate invoices and client account statements
• Update accounting and billing system.
• Account reconciliations
• Maintaining up to date accounts files and records.
• Identify outstanding debts and patterns of non-payment
• Collaborate with clients and senior team members and initiate solutions to debt and debt clearing
• Monthly financial and management reports
• Contribute to the development of new solutions to client needs
• Contribute to financial management, processes and analysis
• Provide ad-hoc day-to-day support on requests that arise

Requirements

• Ideally a qualified accountant although, non-qualified with a strong degree or relevant experience will be considered
• Over 3 years working in a finance & accounting function
• Experienced working with accounting systems
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
• Comfortable working with people in different geographies and times zones
• Tech savvy and an early adopter of new software systems
• High energy, with a desire to go above and beyond to make the business more efficient and a better place to be
