Group Chief Engineer – Vietnam

Our client is a leading hospitality group in Vietnam with a growing portfolio of mid-scale to luxury city hotels and resorts across the country.

As part of their rapid growth story, they are looking to instill a Corporate Engineering function through the acquisition of a Group Chief Engineer. As a very hands on position in a growing hospitality platform, you will be expected to manage the design review and approval aspects of new developments and CapEx upgrading programmes as well as drive energy and sustainability initiatives within the group. You will also be expected to step in as Chief Engineer to properties during pre-opening phases or during an absence of an on site Director of Engineering.

The ideal candidate with be qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have strong experience working at both asset and corporate level. You will ideally have worked in Vietnam before and understand the challenges involved in the construction and operation of hospitality assets.
