Head of Operations – Commercial/Industrial – Facilities Services – China – Shanghai

Our client is one of the worlds leading Global Facilities Management Companies. With an existing enviable portfolio of global and regional corporate clients, they are seeking a Director level candidate with a strong track record of leading large Facilities Services businesses focussing on either the commercial or industrial markets across China.

As the Sector Head of Operations, you will have prior experience in driving P&L’s in the facilities services environment of RMB several hundred million and several thousand staff. Reporting to the Country CEO, you would be responsible for the operational performance of account structures within your sector’s responsibility, ensuring KPI’s are met and driving efficiencies where possible. You will be commercially astute and comfortable working in the new business environment, assisting in the winning and mobilisation of new contracts, as well as identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of driving operations and be used to working across highly matrixed organisations with cross country and regional stakeholders and functional leads. You will be commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management skills and be able to deal with international and domestic clients. As such, the successful candidate will have high fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
