Human Resources Administrator, Temp

|

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the HR Manager
  • Benefits administration
  • Maintaining files and records
  • Drafting reports, letters and correspondence for employees
  • Liaising with the finance team on Payroll and timesheet matters
  • Assisting with recruitment
  • Maintaining the HR system
  • Assisting in coordinating HR policies, procedures and documentation
  • First point of contact for all HR related queries

Experience required:

  • Associate’s or a High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in HR administration including payroll
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to clients and other employees
  • Experience working in a very fast paced environment
  • CISHRP certified in Human Resource Management, Health Insurance Law, Pension Law and Labour Law or currently working on achieving this certification
  • Fully proficient in timekeeping software and HR database
  • Knowledge of Sage Abra would be an asset
  • Basic computer proficiency on Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel and Publisher
