
IT Manager

Responsibilities:
- Work with leadership to help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Develop annual IT plan and budget, based on the organization’s 5-year strategic plan and annual growth objectives
- Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
- Subsequently manage IT budgets and forecasts, and enforce cost-effectiveness and efficiencies throughout
- Lead complex IT projects, including the design and deployment of new IT systems and services
- Monitor infrastructure performance and security, and to provide recommendations for improving IT infrastructure
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and ensure excellent responsiveness and rectification for end user issues
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training, and coaching employees, communicating job expectations, and appraising their performance
- Adhere to global security policies and frameworks, implementing processes where required, managing controls and participating in audits/reviews when required
- Ensure system documentation is current and readily accessible via online documentation portal.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structure, ensuring security of data and network access
- Supervise daily operations of network and server infrastructure
- Contributes to local Disaster Recovery planning and testing
- Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processes
Required:
- Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies and regulations
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Ability to manage people and teams
