Responsibilities:
- Identify the impact and relevance of legal and regulatory changes for local and global compliance initiatives, provide advice, guidance and assist with updates to business operations, policies, procedures, products or services
- Assist with the development and delivery of effective compliance training, compliance monitoring and reporting programmes, and an assessment of the adequacy of internal policies and procedures against regulatory requirements to minimize potential regulatory risks
- Execute periodic risk assessments and other compliance-related activities across multiple industries and report findings, recommendations and remedial actions
- Conduct and manage the sanctions screening process to ensure compliance with monitoring, detection, investigation and reporting obligations
- Act as DMLRO for various entities and assist with the preparation and filing of SARs
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Legal, Finance, Accounting or Business
- A recognized compliance or AML certification, g. ACAMS or ICA, preferred
- A minimum 5 years relevant risk and compliance experience from a multidisciplinary background with 2 years in a managerial role
- Practical experience with compliance monitoring, analyzing business processes and controls, writing policies and procedures and implementation techniques, including training strategies
- Knowledge and experience working with local and international regulations, including AML/CFT, Data Privacy, Anti-Bribery and Corruption, FATCA, CRS, BEPS and Beneficial Ownership
