Manager – IT Operations

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with IT enterprise administration staff to implement short and long term strategic plans to ensure IT server infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements.
• Maintains IT asset management systems, including equipment life cycle management and related documentation.
• Ensure that IT technical support staff consistently meet established service level agreements and adheres to documented policies and procedures.
• Assist with the development, and implementation of policies and procedures for IT administration and appropriate use.
• Monitors incident management system and follows up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of work experience and technical certifications. VMWare Certification is desirable.
• ILM or AMA Management Certification and Microsoft Windows and Server Certifications are preferred.
• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in management of IT operations, leading teams of 5 persons or larger.
• Knowledge of IT operations and all related computer hardware and software.
• Knowledge of database management, user access control, security models, and backup processes.
