MEP QS – Data Centre – Taiwan

Our client is one of the worlds leading Global Quantity Surveying and Cost Management Practices. With a global network of offices and an enviable portfolio of international corporate clients, they have particular strength in Corporate Real Estate and highly technical projects including Data Centres.

With a major Data Centre project currently underway in Taiwan for an international Tech Giant, they are seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team. As MEP Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectations and leading MEP Cost Management activities across the project including delivering cost estimates and plans, pre and post contract quantity surveying duties as well as leading and managing the tender and procurement process for contractors for all M&E related packages. You will manage cost variations and participate in value engineering exercises, LEED Analysis and Lifecycle costing.

The successful candidate with be qualified to degree level in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and ideally be MRICS qualified. You will be capable with major cost management software and have a demonstrable track record in leading MEP cost management functions on Data Centre projects. Ideally you will have prior experience in Asia but certainly in major RICS centres such as Europe, Australasia, South Africa or other parts of Asia. You will preferably have prior experience within a Cost Consultancy but Major Contractor experience will also be considered.

There is an excellent package on offer for the right candidate. This will be an initial 12 month contract with potential to extend and provides and excellent opportunity to gain experience on a Data Centre Mega Project.
