Responsibilities:
- Development of strategies
- Conversing and working with vendors and sales representatives
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Discover profitable supplier and initiate procurement partnerships
- You will be responsible for performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs while controlling spending
- Leadership of cross-functional teaming across other business functions and initiatives
- Order approvals and budget management
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or years of equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ of experience in logistics, procurement, supply chain management or similar
- Previous experience in a senior leadership role
- Supply chain management certification or operations management highly preferred
- Well adverse within procurement principles and practices
- Problem solving and strategic mindset
- Strong negotiation skills
- Finance and/or accounting knowledge for budgeting, cost management and risk management
