Project Director, Data Centre – Manila, Philippines

Our client is the Project Management division of one of the world’s largest Real-Estate Consultancies. With increasing demand for Data Warehousing across the region, they are experiencing unprecedented demand for their services in the delivery of new Data Centre projects in the region and in the Philippines.

As such, they are looking for a Projects Director to join their team in the Philippines based out of Manila, overseeing in country Project Management team in the delivery of Greenfield Data Centre development projects.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience delivering large scale MEP intensive projects and at least half of this specifically in the Data Centre environment. You must have a relevant degree, experience in design and construction project management along with skills including negotiation, cost management, quality control, risk management to name a few.

You will have operated at corporate level previously and led early-stage development projects as the project owner or owner’s representative. You will have experience of the full project life-cycle from planning and design management, through procurement and construction phases into hand over and operations.

You will have experience building and leading a team of Project Managers across a portfolio of projects. You will also likely have spent time working in a client’s representative capacity with another Project Management Consultancy, a Data Centre Co-location Provider or perhaps in an EPCM firm.

This role would be ideal for someone who is currently based in Manila or for someone who is looking to relocate with residency rights.
