
Project Manager – Finance ERP

Responsibilities:
- Managing both large and small technology projects lifecycle using appropriate methodologies (waterfall, agile etc.)
- Agreeing and documenting project scope with business colleagues, product owners and delivery teams
- Organising and leading project status and working meetings and providing status reports for IT and Business management teams on project progress, issues, and risks
- Managing risks and issue and correcting deviations from plans
- Facilitating lessons learned/retrospective sessions and providing/implementing process improvement
- Leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
- Contributing to the delivery of end-to-end solutions by drawing from a background across multiple disciplines including architecture, infrastructure, testing, business analysis, and project management knowledge
- Supporting the Product Owner in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
- Engaging with and influencing stakeholder groups at a senior management level with the purpose of implementing identified solutions, prioritizing requirements and ensuring that the necessary resources are in place to support business requirements
- Engaging with colleagues to prioritize change, conducting impact assessments, and pushing back on change requests as necessary
- Managing multiple work streams in parallel
Required:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field
- 3+ years’ experience working as an IT Project Manager delivering a wide variety of infrastructure, operational, or software projects
- Strong familiarity with agile and waterfall methodologies
- Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure / Operations
- Good knowledge with ITIL and other IT service management methodologies
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and direct users and teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A PRINCE 2 / PMP Certification or equivalent, is preferred
- Experience with Vendor on-boarding and management as part of project team
- Experience working in a law firm or other professional service industry
