Regional PMO Lead – Automotive Client, APAC – Tokyo

Our client is a leading Global Multi-disciplinary Consultancy with an enviable portfolio of clients around the world. With a number of Global Corporate Accounts they are serving, they are currently working with a Global Automotive Manufacturer to drive their regional projects portfolio across the APAC region.

As such they are seeking a Regional PMO Lead to manage their project portfolio, managing a team of in country Project Managers across the region. With multiple projects running concurrently in different locations around the region and at various stages of the project lifecycle, this role will provide a central focal point for managing the client stakeholders at their headquarters providing programme governance and assurance centrally.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in portfolio project and programme management, coupled with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will have strong programme management capabilities and be able to drive corporate project controls processes and standards into project delivery teams in various locations in the region. You will likely have an Engineering or Project Management qualification, ideally coupled with further PMP or equivalent certification. A previous background with Corporate Fit-out, Showroom Dealerships and Manufacturing Facilities would be highly advantageous for the role along with strong proficiency in Primavera P6.
