Senior Manager, Group Data Centre Operations Governance – Singapore

Our Client is one of the world’s fastest-growing Data Centre Developers and Co-location Providers. With the increasing demand for Data Warehousing across the region, they are experiencing an unprecedented demand for capacity and have a strong pipeline of projects to be delivered.

As such, they are looking for a Senior Manager level candidate with strong experience in the handover and implementation of new data centres into the operating environment. You will represent the operations team during the development stages, working with the construction and start-up teams to ensure a smooth transition to the operations team. You will identify any construction and design-related issues that may impact operations and support in the onboarding of engineering and operations teams into new greenfield sites.

You will also provide strategic leadership for group-wide DC operations and ensure alignment for maintenance standards. You will be the subject matter expert for engineering matters and develop DC operations frameworks. You will also develop risk management and governance structures as well as KPI’s for continuous improvement including ESG matters.

The successful candidate will be qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services or Facilities Management and have at least 10 years of experience in the Data Centre or Mission Critical environments. You will be a licensed electrical worker and hold relevant Data Centre and Sustainability Certifications with a strong track record in developing processes and procedures for well-managed data centre oerations at both asset and corporate level.
