Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Data Centres – Johor, Malaysia

Our client is a leading Regional Engineering Consultancy providing design services to private and public sector clients. With a growing business in Malaysia and several major projects ongoing, they are well positioned for sustained growth in the Malaysia markets.

As such, they are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team working on two major Data Centre projects in Johor. As Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating between the design teams in Singapore and the Client, Contractors, and other Consultants on-site in Johor for the projects they are delivering.

The successful candidates will ideally be qualified in Mechanical Engineering and ideally hold your professional certification. You will have a demonstrable track record in the design delivery of data centres or other highly technical projects such as Semiconductor plants, high-tech manufacturing facilities, Pharmaceutical plants, or in the Oil & Gas environment. You will have experience working relatively autonomously and be comfortable managing clients and stakeholders.
