Systems Programmer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain a complete understanding of software requirements and ensure they are fully documented.
• Produce and maintain user, system, and programmer level documentation to the divisional standards.
• Analyse performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.
• Ensure that a program enforces confidentiality or limits access where required.
• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference in a manner consistent with the Division’s policy.

Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Five (5) years of experience working as a Software developer or Software engineer developing robust n-tier applications within a structured development environment.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a good team player.

The following knowledge and skills are required

• Understanding of S.O.L.I.D. software design principles
• C#, .Net 6 (Core), ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, MVC, Web API, .Net Framework 4.8, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework Core, Entity Framework 6, SQL Server Development, SQL Server Administration, JavaScript General, JQuery, HTML + CSS, Bootstrap UI Framework
