
Technician Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide basic technical assistance & support to computer system users
- Respond to questions and/or resolve computer related incidents and requests for clients in person, via telephone or from remote locations
- Install and perform minor repairs to IT hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
- Set up an equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cable, operating systems, and appropriate software
- Assess and prioritize daily ticket workload aligning with ITIL best practice and in accordance with established SLAs
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial action taken, and installation activities
Required:
- A High School Diploma
- An active pursue of further education in an IT related degree program or working toward IT certifications (A+, Network+, MCSA: Windows 10, M365 Certified MDAA or equivalent)
- IT related work experience a plus
- Basic knowledge of current PC and Mobile operating systems
- Proficiency with basic computer programs including current versions of Microsoft Office and database systems
- Preferably ITIL Foundation Certification
- Excellent customer service and time management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills, verbal and written
- Ability to work independently while simultaneously being a collaborative team member striving for team success
- Excellent organizational, communication, analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
