Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as copying, scanning and ordering of office supplies
- Maintain and organize filing systems ensuring accurate and up to date records are kept
- Assist staff with general real estate matters
- Perform the filing and drafting of legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Initiate basic draft leases and general client correspondence
- Conduct property research either at the Department of Lands & Survey or via the online portal
- Process invoices and other payments
- Liaise and correspond with the Financial Secretary’s office relating to waivers / abatement’s of stamp duty
- Undertake additional duties and ad hoc projects as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ administrative experience including tasks such as scanning, filing/archiving, data entry and invoice payments
- Previous legal environment experience beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience assisting with real estate transactions, using Lands & Survey online and knowledge of Lands & Survey’s procedures for filing of real estate documents, preferred NOT essential
