VP – Engineering & Utilities – Global

Our client is a well-recognized name in the Asia hospitality markets. Having completed a number of strategic acquisitions over recent years, they have created a fully global platform with multiple brand capabilities across resorts and city hotels.

With a business model that incorporates invested properties, owned and operated properties as well as third party management contracts, they are looking for a key individual capable of taking control of their Global Engineering function. This will include both operational engineering functions in property and facilities maintenance and upgrading works as well as design review, equipment selection and construction monitoring of new assets under construction. The role will also take control of global utilities and sustainability initiatives.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to move from a regional to a global role and will most likely have had experience working with a top tier hospitality firm looking after portfolios greater than 150 hotels with a complex reporting structure.  You will have had strong operational experience and be able to review and recommend changes and enhancements to drawings as well as value engineering during the construction process.

Strong exposure to global energy usage initiatives will be favourable and with a strong development pipeline across Greater China, Chinese language skills would be highly advantageous.
