Responsibilities: 

• Create and develop the marketing and BD strategy and plan and budget
• Focus and develop Bermuda markets and international markets including US, London and Asia
• Travel is required to US, UK, Singapore and Hong Kong
• Reporting to the Group Director of marketing and BD and MP
• Research to target prospect lists for senior management
• Search for new business opportunities
• Create a programme of marketing trips and meetings and work closely with colleagues in local and international offices to plan and schedule trips
• After the marketing trip organise ‘follow ups’
• Liasie with other teams to draft bids, pitches etc
• Develop and implement a Bermuda client programme to strengthen existing relationships and target new ones
• Pan and deliver client hospitality activities and networking events
• Undertake client feedback through calls and meetings
• Identify key industry events in Bermuda and key US Cities
• Plan and host seminars, events and corporate hospitality
• Conduct post-analysis of events

Requirements: 

• Minimum 10 years’ experience ideally in a law firm or professional services/financial industry
• International market experience
• Ideally have a relevant degree and professional qualification recognized by industry association
• Strong strategic planning skills
• Ability to identify international target markets and execute to bring in new business
• Strong local relationships
