Background

Alan has over 20 years’ experience in Global HR and Recruitment. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and French, SPHR, CIPD and is an Accredited Director. He has sat on several Board including a counsellor for the Chamber of commerce, a member of the conditional release Board and was part of the Government’s Immigration review team

He has managed RPO, Outsourcing HR & Recruitment deals for Google, Paypal, Amazon, Apple, IBM, HP, Eircom throughout his career. Alan has extensive experience in recruitment, executive search, immigration as well as HR consultancy and HR outsourcing across a variety of industries worldwide.

He built up a recruitment business in Cayman to be the leading recruitment consultancy on island prior to him selling. He has now co-founded Invenio Global to serve his client’s needs, both local and global.

Interests

Alan is a keen practitioner of Brazilian jujitsu, as well as keeping fit with F45 in order to take on the challenges of raising three young boys.

Background

Originally from the UK, Stevan graduated from Nottingham University with a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering in 2000. He subsequently trained at RMA Sandhurst before starting his career within the Recruitment industry.

Since then, Stevan has gone on to set up several Property & Construction recruitment practices within large multi-national recruitment firms in the UK and Asia. During this time he has developed strong techniques for complex international search requirements completing numerous assignments in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Initially starting his career in London and servicing the UK markets, Stevan spent time in the Cayman Islands recruiting for offshore markets before moving to Singapore in 2010 where he now works regionally and globally.

Stevan is also the Managing Director of Invenitus Global Search Ltd. (Co. Reg No. 11124111), the trading company of the Invenio Global Search Group of Companies in the UK.

Background

Originating from London, England, Nikeeta completed a law degree (LLB), Masters in Sports Law (LLM) and Legal Practice Course (LPC). She then worked as a litigation paralegal for over three years in London law firms.

In 2012 she decided to leave her legal career behind to join the world of recruitment and made the move to the Cayman Islands in 2014.

Role

Nikeeta specialises in professional services recruitment, working with both local and global companies. 

Interests

In her spare time Nikeeta loves to relax on the beach with a few rum cocktails. She is an avid follower of the English Premiership football league and her idol is tennis legend Roger Federer.

Background

Originally from Chester in the UK, Phil spent the last 12 years in London before relocating to Cayman. After studying Engineering Science at John Moores University, Phil spent the first 10 years of his career as an Engineer, before opening his own search firm in 2006.

Phil has 15 years’ experience of placing senior individuals across the Professional Services domain from West Coast US right across the globe to Singapore. Additionally, Phil has also worked in and built teams of recruiters across many different areas such as Regulatory Compliance, Economics, Business Transformation, FinTech / Core Banking and Cyber.

Phil has successfully worked on mandates for mid to senior positions across the Big 4, tier 1 & 2 firms and tech unicorns as well as seed funded start-ups, and almost everything in between!

Interests

Phil is a big sports fan. He loves running, snowboarding, football, NFL and Scuba Diving, so when not in the office you’ll find him 30 meters below the surface of the sea or enjoying a (very) cold post dive beer….

Background

Brenda has over 15 years experience working in the Non-Profit, Education, and Health Services sectors. She has extensive expertise in program management, event and meeting planning, human resources and training and development. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UCLA and is certified by the Cayman Islands Society for Human Resource Professionals in HR Management.

She has managed the operations, projects and staff for medical societies, advocacy organizations and healthcare centres based in the US.

Role

Her passion for helping people brought her to Invenio Global where she provides immigration, human resources, and project management support to clients.

Interests

Brenda is a native of Los Angeles, who enjoys F45 and Netflix Fridays.

Background

Originally from Scotland, Craig holds Masters’ Degrees from the University of Glasgow and the University of Chester. He spent his 20s working largely in the third world, starting in Africa followed by some time in Central America and finishing up in Southeast Asia. He worked to promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals and specialized in both Sustainable Economic Growth and Rainforest Conservation. His recruitment career started in New York City and after some time in the UK market, he relocated offshore to the Cayman Islands. 

Role

As the Head of Tech Recruitment, Craig is responsible for our core verticals across our global locations. With a passion for supporting local Caymanian tech talent, Craig is engaged with various local organizations to further promote the tech space within the Cayman Islands.

In addition, he supports top tech professionals relocate offshore and engages with our global clients to provide key outsourcing, payroll, HR and recruitment solutions.

Interests

Outside of work, Craig takes full advantage of many of the activities on offer in Cayman including touch rugby, pickleball, beach volleyball, tennis and cycling to name a few.

He is PADI certified scuba diver and regularly takes part in boat dives, night dives and wreck dives around many of the Island’s underwater attractions. Craig also enjoys many of the boat and beach parties, festivals and events that regularly take place.

Originally from Goa in India, Emelia has lived in Dubai and now calls Cayman home. She holds an Associate Degree and is also certified in Human Resource Management Training. Has over 10 years of administrative experience and has worked in the hospitality, retail food and tourism sectors, providing executive administrative support.

Role

At Invenio Global she works as a Executive Administrative Assistant. She has excellent knowledge of the inner workings of the Immigration law and regulations and frequently assists the rest of the team. Emelia is goal-oriented and always looking for ways to improve her skills and knowledge. She is eager to take on new challenges and is always willing to learn new things.

Emelia is passionate about baking and cooking. She loves experimenting with new recipes and creating dishes with a twist.

Background

Born and raised in London, UK, Sol started his career in the health and fitness industry. After a spending several years in Australia during his 20s, he returned to London in 2018 and commenced a career in legal recruitment building strong relationships with a large number of the world’s leading law firms, many of whom he still works closely with, assisting with their recruitment on a global scale.

Role

Sol’s expertise is in legal recruitment, placing lawyers across the transactional, regulatory and contentious verticals. He works with in-house legal teams, onshore and offshore law firms across the UK, USA, UAE, Hong Kong, Singapore & Australia and offshore jurisdictions, such as the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Bermuda & Channel Islands. 

Interests

In his spare time, Sol enjoys spending time in the ocean and is an avid waterskier, enjoys wakeboarding, kitesurfing and attempting to surf.

His claim to fame is that he was part of the British waterski team competing globally and winning a number of medals for his country.

Background

Alexa studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Communications. She moved straight into event sales, management, and coordination. She then moved to Sydney, Australia, where she worked as an Events & Sales Manager for The Sydney Collective. In 2021 she moved to the Cayman Islands.

Role

 Alexa has been with Invenio Global for several years and supports the professional services sector.

Interests

On the weekends she enjoys spending time with her husband, twins and pup as well as going to the beach and snorkeling.

Background

David has worked in recruitment for over nine years, initially in the Czech Republic before relocating to the Cayman Islands in 2018.  He graduated from the University of Leeds, UK, with a first class honours degree in Law and Management. 

Role

David specialises in the financial services sector and has helped hundreds of professionals take the next step in their career. At Invenio his focus is in recruiting for roles within banking, trusts and compliance. 

Interests

Outside of work David’s a keen rock climber, squash player and has recently discovered the game of pickleball. He’s also an active member of Rotary Central Cayman Islands. He is currently serving as the Director of Youth Services for 2023 /24, putting his years of recruitment experience to good use helping young Caymanians take the first step in their career.

Background

Originally from a small town in Ontario, Canada, Katelyn went on to graduate from Western University. She started her career in recruitment in Toronto with one of the largest staffing firms in North America, before joining the Invenio team. 

Role

As part of the financial services team, Katelyn specializes in the reinsurance industry which is focused in the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Barbados. 

Interests

Outside of work Katelyn enjoys working out, playing field sports, cooking and exploring the wonderful food scene that Cayman has to offer. Since arriving on Island, Katelyn has enjoyed getting involved with various community initiatives and is currently helping coach  soccer at youth camps, has joined Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Cayman and volunteers at the Humane Society.

Background

Courtney previously worked at St. Matthew’s University for over 12 years, initially as a receptionist, after which she was promoted to the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Basic Sciences. In 2021, Courtney gained her CIPD Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Human Resources Practice and recently passed the CISHRP HR Management Certification Program.

Role

Courtney is the Immigration and HR Coordinator. Her duties include tracking and monitoring all immigration related matters; liaising with clients on immigration queries and complete high-level immigration matters such as preparing and processing work permits; processing Caymanian status applications and RERC. 

Interests

Courtney was born and raised in Grand Cayman. She is true island girl, you can find her on the beach or enjoying time in the water, either scuba diving, free diving or snorkeling. She enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling, playing squash, corporate touch rugby, underwater photography and recently discovered pickleball. She became the youngest Ladies Open tennis champion in Grand Cayman at the age of 13 years old.

Originally from India, Arti completed her Degree in Engineering from Mumbai University. In 2010 she embarked on her career in recruitment, partnering with corporate clients fulfilling their critical talent acquisition needs in audit, compliance, finance, legal and risk.

In 2017 Arti started focusing exclusively on Legal executive search. Since them she has been assisting consultants in sourcing candidates for top tier Onshore & Offshore Law Firms across the Asia Specific region. She has worked in almost all the specialization – Corporate, Litigation, Arbitration, Corporate Finance, IPO, IP, Capita Market, Funds, etc.

Background

Kathleen is a qualified accountant with over seven years experience in financial accounting and reporting. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. She has extensive experience serving various clients in the financial services, oil and gas industry, real estate, food industry, non-profit organizations and government departments.

Role

She oversees all the accounting functions of the business including accounts receivable and payable, payroll and provides company financial reporting. In addition, Kathleen manages the outsourced payroll services for many of Invenio’s clients.

Kathleen enjoys traveling, hiking and nature photography. In her free time, she blogs about her travel experiences.
