Analyst – Information Rights

Responsibilities:
- Working in a small team
- Responsible for receiving, reviewing and investigating enquiries falling under the jurisdiction of the Freedom of Information Act (2021 Revision), the Data Protection Act (2021 Revision), and the Data Protection Regulations 2018.
- Interpret domestic and foreign legislation, case law and policies for analysis against the facts of each case assigned to them for the purpose of producing impartial and thorough reports.
- Investigate requests and complaints from members of the public.
Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Business or Cyber Security
- Ideally qualified attorney or data privacy expert or minimum 2 years’ experience in legal, regulatory, IT or a complaints setting
- Excellent communication skills, analytical, critical reasoning, problem-solving and judgement skills.
- A strong sense of what is right and fair and the ability to be tenacious and resilient in the face of challenge.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and work in a complex office environment.
- Advanced personal organization and attention to detail.
- Innovation and creativity.
- Ability to establish strategic relationships.
