Our client is a leading name in global hospitality. As one of the largest hotel operators in the world, they also have one of the most interesting brand suites and a formidable development pipeline.

Having experienced strong success in the growth of their portfolio in North Africa, they are seeking to enhance their in-country capabilities in Morocco. As such, they are seeking a Country Corporate Engineering Director to support the executive Technical Services team in the delivery and operational management of their Economy to Mid-Scale and Premium brand suite in Morocco. The successful candidate will be from an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background and have strong experience in overseeing a portfolio of 20 or more properties, providing reactive and preventative maintenance programmes as well as project and engineering support for hotel-level engineering management for new-build, refurbishment and upgrading programmes. You will also be conversant with the latest regulations and technologies for energy saving, efficiency and emissions.

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with a hotel operator or owner-operator organisation. You will have strong capabilities in the management of large portfolios of hotels and have strong stakeholder management and reporting capabilities. You must be fully bilingual in English, Moroccan and ideally, French language skills would be highly advantageous for communication with their owners, consultant supply chain, and internal staff members. This role will ideally be Casablanca-based with a high travel component and existing right to work in Morocco is a prerequisite.
