A global real estate consultancy is deepening its presence in Japan’s rapidly expanding data centre market — and is seeking a senior leader to build and lead its specialised data centre services business nationwide.

Based in Tokyo, you’ll take full ownership of the Japan business unit, delivering a comprehensive suite of services to both international hyperscale operators and leading domestic clients. Your remit spans project management, transaction advisory, operational engineering, and integrated facilities management — supporting clients across the entire data centre lifecycle.

This is a high-impact leadership role that blends strategic growth with operational execution. You’ll oversee cross-functional teams, develop and nurture key client relationships, and ensure seamless, high-quality delivery across complex, mission-critical environments. Acting as the bridge between global best practices and local execution, you’ll play a central role in defining how the firm delivers data centre services in Japan.

You’ll engage regularly with JV partners, consultants, and clients — balancing commercial insight with technical credibility. Your leadership will shape the unit’s performance, culture, and long-term growth trajectory.

Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Japanese is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates will bring a track record of leadership in data centres or critical infrastructure, and the cultural fluency to operate confidently in a dynamic, multinational context.
