Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new commercial projects to create sales opportunities for equipment and services.
  • Conduct meetings with current customers and cold calls to secure service contracts, maintenance agreements, and equipment sales to meet sales targets.
  • Utilize tools like AutoCAD, Razor Sync, and Auto Quote for project planning and sales processes.
  • Coordinate project schedules and ad hoc services with the Maintenance Manager.
  • Source supplier quotes, arrange freight for parts/equipment, and provide customer quotations.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to manage equipment and parts orders, ensuring smooth delivery and invoicing.
  • Promote and sell overstock and non-moving items.
  • Follow up on accounts receivables regularly and resolve customer complaints.
  • Submit and track warranty claims to ensure timely payment collection.
  • Maintain records for special orders, equipment quotes, and service calls.
  • Analyze sales and project reports, presenting findings as required.
  • Oversee special projects from design to completion, updating customers and managers on progress.
  • Provide coverage for Sales Representatives during absences and schedule cold calls for various product categories.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial kitchen equipment sales.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software for designing kitchen projects.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen appliances, equipment parts, and preventive maintenance.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective customer service and recommend suitable appliances.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent time management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • CFSP (Certified Foodservice Professional) qualification is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard hours, including holidays, as required.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and capable of working under minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
