Responsibilities

  • Amend legal documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in creating and managing client/matter records, including onboarding coordination and client due diligence (CDD) collection.
  • Conduct company searches and liaise with relevant authorities.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as answering calls, responding to emails, managing files, and archiving documents.
  • Support conflict checks and ensure all matter-opening data is recorded properly.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the marketing and business development (M&BD) team as needed.
  • Maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate contact profiling and recording of business development activities.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a similar role; legal environment experience is beneficial but not mandatory for junior roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Excel knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Secretarial or administrative qualifications are advantageous.
  • Team player with a flexible approach to supporting colleagues across different teams.
