Accounts Officer

Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the department’s financial statements, budgets, and strategic forecasts.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable functions, including invoice preparation, vendor reconciliations, and purchase order processing.
- Oversee payroll, ledger management, and ensure compliance with internal control procedures for revenue collection and safeguarding.
- Collaborate with internal teams and junior accounts officers to improve financial processes, ensuring effective communication and customer service.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of related experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience with budget management, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
