Assistant Compliance Officer
 

Invenio are working with a global professional services organization who are seeking an Assistant Compliance Officer to join their Cayman based team.

The core purpose of this position is to assist with the administration of the client on-boarding process to enable the firm to meet their obligations under the Cayman Islands AML legislation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct searches database for clients and take appropriate actions.
• Keep sanctions screening data systems updated.
• Maintain the computer based filing system, including the central database for CDD storage.
• Assist with Due Diligence requirements for regulatory obligations.
• Review of Due Diligence already held to ensure relevance and accuracy.
• Maintaining good working relationship with internal stakeholders.
• Support the Senior Compliance team, as required.

Requirements:

• Strong academic credentials, university graduates preferred.
• Experience of working in a professional services environment would be beneficial.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word.
• Ideally have experience working with Viewpoint
• Working towards, or already completed the ACAMS certification.
